Tur over Berget mellom Tangstad og Saupstad.

Den 25.august kl 11 velger historielaget å ta en tur på gammelveien over Berget til Saupstadsiden. Dette er en tur der vi ønsker å stoppe opp og mimre litt, ettersom det var ganske spesielt å ferdes på denne veien. Undertegnede har flere ganger tenkt å ta turen over Berget, men først nå kan det bli aktuelt.

Tema for dagen: LIVET PÅ SKAFTNES

En tradisjonell avvikling av dagen med historie fra gården ved Svein Kongsjord. Frikk Harald Bjerkli fortalte om bruk av trevirke fra Lofoten.

Lørdag 8.juni kl 15 avdukes en minnestein for landnåmskvinnen Turid Sundfylleren fra Hålogaland

som reiste til Bolungarvik på Island for der å ta seg land - ca. år 945.

Dette er et arrangement som er lagt inn i programmet til "Jenter i juni" og markeringen skjer foran Rådhuset på Leknes
